Scattered over 21 acres and sloping down toward two private beaches, the eleven residences of traditional Bermudian architecture overlook the clear blue waters dotted with small islands where you can can swim in the shallow waters and relax on pink sand coral beaches. Newly refurbished rooms have tropical décor with custom designed furnishings and marble bathrooms. Rooms have a coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer, reading lights, a safe and free Wi-Fi. Ocean View rooms feature panoramic views across Bailey’s Bay.
The Palm Court has a relaxed and tropical atmosphere for casual dining with an island inspired menu. The elegant Hibiscus Room features traditional European cuisine with a Bermuda flavour. The Natura Spa is a unique experience where you can be pampered in a ancient grotto surrounded by crystal clear mineral water with stalactites and stalagmites. The resort is within walking distance of the famous Swizzle Inn, Baileys Bay Ice Cream Parlour, the Crystal Caves, Hiking Trails, the Blue Hole Nature Reserve and Walsingham Jungle and is just fifteen minutes by bus from Hamilton and from the historic town of St. George’s which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Frequent buses and ferries combine to take you all over the island and will turn your day trips into adventures.
The internationally famous and exclusive Mid Ocean Club was built in 1921 and is rated as one of the world’s finest golf courses and patronised by the rich and famous from across the globe. Designed by the celebrated architect, Charles Blair Macdonald, Mid Ocean has been the host of major golf events including the PGA Grand Slam of Golf. Port Royal is another famous Bermuda Golf Course that has hosted the PGA Grand Slam of Golf for many years and is now host of the PGA Bermuda Championship. Robert Trent Jones designed this wonderful course which has sweeping views over the Atlantic Ocean. The signature hole is the 16th which is a spectacular par three that hugs the coastline and is the most photographed hole in Bermuda. Tuckers Point was designed in 1932 by Charles H. Banks, and later enhanced by Roger Rulewich who was the former chief designer for Robert Trent Jones. This pristine and challenging course features undulating fairways and elevated tees with fabulous panoramic views. Belmont Hills has wonderful views across the bay towards Hamilton’s beautiful waterfront and is a showcase for Bermuda’s natural beauty whilst keeping you focused on golf with strategically laid out bunkers and multi-tiered greens. Turtle Hill is recognised as one of the finest Par Three 18 hole courses in the world and is a must play during your visit to Bermuda. At just under 3000 yards it offers a refreshing and unique golfing experience that is hugely enjoyable. With lush sub-tropical surroundings, breath-taking sea views and dramatic elevation changes, you’ll need accuracy, patience and prudent club selection. The round at Turtle Hill will be both a mixed pairs stableford competition for the Turtle Trophy and individual stableford competitions for men and ladies.
Your holiday will include five mixed betterballs. On ‘free days’ there are lots of things to do. You can choose to play golf (green fees apply), explore the island using the excellent bus and ferry service, visit the historic town of St George’s or Hamilton, the bustling and vibrant capital with shops and restaurants lining the waterfront, take a ferry to the British Royal Naval Dockyard which was built over 200 years ago and is now a visitor major attraction, enjoy the Spa, relax on the pink sandy beach or by the pool. During mid-November the weather is usually hot and sunny with daytime temperatures of around 75°F 24°C.
