Comporta Mixed Pairs

Day 1 – Wednesday 10th September 2025
After arriving at Lisbon airport, you will be met for your transfer south to the beautiful town of Comporta.
The area is renowned for its natural beauty due to the environment being preserved for years, in part thanks to its status as a ‘highly protected nature reserve’, in addition to previously being owned by the Espírito Santo banking family which closely oversaw any development. 
The aim was to avoid the uncontrolled construction that has harmed part of the Algarve. As a result, the Praia da Comporta stands out for its serene atmosphere.
Located in the heart of the village, our home for the week is the stunning boutique hotel AlmaLusa.
After checking in, you will join us for registration and a chance to meet the rest of the couples joining you on this fantastic week.

Day 2 – Thursday 11th September 2025
After waking on your first morning in Portugal, enjoy breakfast before being transferred for the short journey for our first round of golf on the stunning Dunas Golf Course at Terras da Comporta.
Designed by the acclaimed architect David McLay-Kidd and officially opened in October 2023, it has received critical acclaim from day one, including being voted the ‘World’s and Europe’s Best New Golf Course’ at the 2023 World Golf Awards and being ranked ninth in Golf World magazine’s respected industry poll of the ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe’ for 2023-2024, the highest ever ranking for a new course.
The course has already been awarded by Leading Courses as the Best Golf Course in Portugal for 2024.
After the thrill of playing one of the best courses in Europe, we will return to the AlmaLusa where will enjoy our first private group dinner together with drinks package included.

Day 3 – Friday 12th September 2025
After starting our day with another sumptuous breakfast, we will take the short transfer to one of the newest golf courses in Europe.
Set to open in the summer of 2025, the Torre Course at Comporta is the first full design by Ryder Cup hero and major winner Sergio Garcia.
Cut through a pine forest, rice paddies and having views overlooking the sea and Serra da Arrábida natural park. “The site is located in striking scenery, just a couple of kilometres from the beautiful beaches of Comporta, and the land has all the ingredients for a spectacular golf course,” said Garcia. The Torre course is set to feature risk-and-reward holes, tight fairways and small greens, with the designer pointing to his favourite course Valderrama as his inspiration.
It is set to match it’s sister the Dunas and complete arguably the finest 36 holes of golf in Europe.
After golf we will return to our hotel where you can enjoy an evening at your leisure.

Day 4 – Saturday 13th September 2025
A day of leisure or not? Simply relax and enjoy the day at AlmaLusa by the pool. Alternatively, because of its prime location and the only hotel in the village, it is only a short 15 minute walk to arguably one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
Just 20 minutes away is one of the oldest towns in Europe, Alcácer do Sal or furthur afield why not take a visit to the historic capital Lisbon.
Nearer home, our hotel places you amongst the whitewashed buildings, restaurants serving up locally-caught fish and shops offering a taste of what is known as Comporta chic – ie floaty kaftans, rattan hats and bags and colourful accessories.
At the end of the day, look out for one the most sought-after spot in the hotel., The Roof Top Bar where you can enjoy cocktails, tapas & snacks and take in the exceptional view of the rice fields and sunset.

Day 5 – Sunday 14th September 2025
We are back playing golf today! After breakfast we take the short journey back to The Dunas Course to take on this stunning layout once again!
Designer McLay-Kidd whos other creations include Queenwood, Bandon Dunes, Fancourt & Beaverbrook raves about the unique beauty and how Dunas represents a new standard for southern Europe: “…Golfers yearn to play beautiful, natural, uncontrived courses. Dunas is unique in Portugal, and unique throughout southern Europe. For golfers that know, this will be a ‘must play’ golf course and for those that don’t it will be a new experience, an awakening of what golf is meant to be.”.
After play we will return to the AlmaLusa where will enjoy our final private group meal together with drinks package included.

Day 6 – Monday 15th September 2025
Sadly our Comporta adventure has come to an end. After our final breakfast together, you will be transferred to Lisbon Airport for your journey home. Alternatively, if you have chosen to extend your Portuguese trip and join us in Praia D’el Rey you will be transferred to your next destination.
