Praia D’El Rey Mixed Pairs

Day 1 – Monday 15th September 2025
After arriving at Lisbon airport, you will be met for your transfer north to the 5* Praia D’El Rey Golf and Beach Resort situated on the beautiful Silver Coast near Amoreira, Obidos.
This stunning hotel is located directly overlooking the beach offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Praia D’El Rey golf course.
After checking in, you will join us for registration and a chance to meet the rest of the couples joining you on this fantastic week.

Day 2 – Tuesday 16th September 2025
After waking up on our first morning and enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will take the short transfer to the stunning West Cliffs course.
Designed by Cynthia Dye, wife of the late Pete Dye and opened in 2017 the course has repeatedly been awarded as one of the best golf courses in Portugal and currently ranks No.2 in the country.
Dye cleverly left the varied landscape and natural terrain undisturbed to create a unique and world class 18-hole seaside links golf course alongside the silver coast. Rolling sand dunes interspersed with coastal vegetation, while the pine groves overlook the ocean from above. This privileged and exclusive location allows the golfer to view the Atlantic Ocean on every hole and mesmerises and challenges you all at the same time.
After play, we will return to the hotel where we will enjoy our first private group dinner of the week together with drinks package included.

Day 3 – Wednesday 17th September 2025
Following breakfast, we will take the short journey to Royal Obidos.
This course was the last design by the late great Seve Ballesteros, sadly passing away before seeing the course come to fruition and is located close to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Obidos as well as the surfer’s beaches of Peniche.
The great man has cleverly produced a layout with 12 holes offering panaramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and to the Berlenga Islands and 6 holes with sublime views of the Óbidos Lagoon – Europe’s largest saltwater Lagoon.
After golf we will return to the Praia D’El Rey resort for an evening at your leisure.

Day 4 – Thursday 18th September 2025
Today is a leisure day. After breakfast, why not discover the wonders of the Silver Coast? Stretching around 240km long from Porto to Lisbon it offers a more traditional side of Portugal than the Algarve.
Visit villages such as Aveiro known as the Little Venice of Portugal or Nazare renowned for having the biggest waves in the world. Peniche is a fishing village with long, beautiful beaches, where you can enjoy grilled fish in typical Portuguese restaurants. Ericeira is a cute, trendy little surf town with flowery colourful streets.
If you prefer to stay closer to home, why not enjoy the hotel’s state of the art Kalyan Spa offering a range of massages, beauty therapies and treatments. Or you can squeeze in another round of golf on one of the nearby courses.

Day 5 – Friday 19th September 2025
Following breakfast, we will play our final round of golf at Praia D’El Rey which is situated alongside the hotel.
The course is arguably one of the most stunning layouts in Europe. Set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlengas Islands beyond.
The course was designed by the renowned American golf architect Cabell B.Robinson and opened in 1997. Deep bunkers, sloping greens and sandy dunes contrast sharply with the lush fairways, making it the complete golfing challenge. 
We will end the day (and our stay) with a private group dinner and drinks at the hotel.

Day 6 – Saturday 20th September 2025
Sadly our trip has come to an end. After our final delicious breakfast at Praia D’el Rey Golf and Beach Resort you will be transferred to Lisbon Airport for your journey home.
